International students who are not members of the European Union require a visa in order to study in Cyprus. For this reason, the educational organisation will forward the applications of international students first to the Ministry of Education and Culture for the academic evaluation and then to the Migration Authorities for visa approval.
Upon receipt of the necessary documents, the Admissions Office will consider the application, and if successful, a Certificate of Admission will be issued and mailed to the candidate. Then the applicant’s file will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Culture in order to check the authenticity of the applicant’s documents. If the ministry approves the documents, then the applicant’s file will be forwarded to the Migration Authorities for a visa approval.
Following the visa approval, the applicant must pay tuition and other fees, which is required by the Migration Authorities if the visa is to be issued. The two receipts, one from the bank of the applicant’s country where the tuition and other fees were deposited and the other from the college indicating that the money has been received MUST be shown to the official’s at Larnaca Airport upon the student’s arrival.
*In case the applicant’s visa is denied by the Cypriot authorities, the tuition fees will be refunded to the student.
The Admissions Office will notify students when their entry visa has been approved and mailed to them.
